Love Lake Forest is a movement that’s creating greater collaboration in the city.
We are led by our churches, connecting with our businesses, city leadership, and nonprofits to help resolve the city’s spiritual, practical, and relational challenges. In Lake Forest, we pull people together around prayer, neighboring, the next generation, and homelessness.
Why We Exist
Love Lake Forest emerged from a group of leaders and pastors who have been praying for the city of Lake Forest. The goal of this organization is to provide focus, organization and communication that will lead to more of us praying for our city leaders and officials, loving our actual neighbors, and working together to help resolve the greater challenges in our city.
As churches make ongoing commitments to a local school, we hope to see our student’s flourish. As our neighboring network grows, we hope to see isolated neighbors come into community and practical needs met in our neighborhoods. As we continue to listen to the needs of our city, we will address more practical challenges with collaborative efforts.

Labors of Love
As a way to increase the value of neighboring in Lake Forest, we seek to identify and serve a neighbor in need (widow, single parent, elderly, etc.) by supporting with a manual labor project such as painting, repairs, maintenance, etc. We are currently looking for a passionate team of individuals who are willing to seek out neighboring needs, manage supplies & materials and possess maintenance/repair tools.
